• If you have never used a balance board before, begin practicing by holding on to something such as the back of a stool or have a spotter.

  • Practice on a rug or carpet. A tile floor will be too slippery.

  • Make sure you have plenty of room and the area is clear of anything you could potentially fall on.

  • Never push another person, playful or otherwise, while they are balancing on the board. A fall and serious injury may result.

  • Do not use under the influence of alcohol. Serious injury may result.
